Eek I’m seriously over doing it on the cucumber. The only plus is that my two are healthy enough weights (they look tiny!).

The majority of their diet should be good quality hay the veg is to add the vitamins etc Wink

Some gp's (most) are pretty greedy and will easily overeat if you feed them too much! Mine also enjoy fresh grass and herbs from the garden, wild plants like dandelion also go down well. But don't feed them plants that you haven't identified as being safe to eat.

gps will eat as long as you keep feeding them i have four and a rabbit when i go past their room the pigs wheep like mad for food but no way or they could end ginormous! btw keep handling them mine being rescued dont like being picked up or held so i let them do their own thing much kinder young gps if handled regularly will enjoy it

My two are bizarre - they do actually seem to know when to stop eating. They both even rejected some parsley last night. I wish I had their willpower!

My three get a handful of pellets plus a bowl of mixed veg and fruit morning and evening and hay when needed. They reckon they're being starved! They usually won't finish all the food unless it's been a VERY long time since they're last meal (such as when I stayed out at Christmas and didn't come back till lunchtime the next day), but, regardless of how much food is in there they'll still squeak for more if they've not been fed for a minute or two.

They used to hate kale, until two of my rabbits moved into their room for a while, and attacked it with enthusiastically. The GPs then realised that the buns were getting something out of a plastic bag which they weren't, so objected to this obvious favouritism and decided they loved kale after all.

Anyone else's pigs fussy about which shop their food is bought from? Mine reckon the Co's fresh stuff goes off far quicker than Tesco's, and refuse to eat it after about day five!
