Ahh boars do have a certain "boariness" to them (we noticed GP1 was the main contender)
Long haired pigs will get manky bottoms, guineas being low slung (unlike rabbits with their big strong hind legs)
Males do need to have their bits cleaned , but not that frequently TBH.
We noticed they got hay stuck in their crevices occasionally.
We would check them (you gently squeeze just above their testes and voila) and wipe round with damp soft cotton wool pads. Ours had a bum dip when they got grubby, full bath maybe every 4 months.
They can get impaction when they get old and saggy - GP1 never had this, GP2 frequently had a grotty bottom but did poohs the size of a Ferrero Rocher (I took one to show the vet, he was
) along with his regular losenge shaped ones so he wasn't impacted but we did need to give him a helping hand sometimes before we cuddled him (I did love that pig though).
GP3 was our neutered boar but we didn't find out if it saved him from impaction as he died young
They can get "Cauliflower" willy when they get a bit saggy, so keep them busy and active ( though they are phenomenally idle animals
)
I used to have a Peruvian (years ago) I kept her fur floor level for her comfort really.(Just trimmed with scissors but she needed brushed every day)
I change the bedding in the sleeping area every day (the main floor stays nice for a week) .......... but I find the sows are far, far mankier than our boars were
