My GPs have really mucky feet!

Anyone else have this with their pigs or are mine particularly gross? Within minutes of being bathed they seem to be grubby again. They just poop and walk through it Hmm.

Grin maybe they are telling you not to bathe them.

"I'll make you realise Mother ,it's like having an arse kicking competition with a millepede"

My GP1 still does a huge puddle of cloudy boar pee and my little GP3 , like my little GP2 used to do, run throught it Shock .
"Nice and fresh, cover yourself in aroma de boar"

Gross much.

Makes a few grubby feet seem quite attractive, eh?

FernieB · 27/07/2013 16:41

Glad it's not just mine. I've cleaned their feet today and they look lovely and clean. Obviously not happy though as Smooth saved a particularly large poop for when I picked him upHmm. Am I the only one who has clothes with unmentionable stains?

Yes, my little black Abby boar was a sweet tempered hog but the fly in the ointment was his bottom

Manky bum patch on my robe after I cuddled him
soft pooh
Monster pooh
or if he did 'normal'pooh, he lifted his rump and deposited them in the crook of my elbow

But he never got them stuck to his feet Grin

BTW fernie if they pooh and walk, their bums are at the back. So it means that the guinea is walking through the other ones pooh.

Do you think Current Bun might step on one and absorb guinea DNA through his paws (might make him morph into a GP/rabbit hybrid)

KRITIQ · 29/07/2013 00:03

Ah, GP1 has minging feet most of the time. GP2 ensures his are meticulously clean, but he can't sit for more than 5 minutes without grooming, so that's probably why.

FernieB · 29/07/2013 16:25

70 - Current Bun avoids anything GP related. He thinks he is a higher being Grin

A GP rabbit hybrid would be scary. How much cucumber would that eat?

GP3 had something on his rump today (didn't smell of anything) Confused

Could be over-ripe watermelon.
Or boar glue.
DD is appalled at the thought of her baby pig having boarglue.
Even worse at the thought it might be GP1 putting glue on piglet.

I'll give him a wipe with a baby wipe tomorrow.
I'm still hoping it's watermelon.

FernieB · 30/07/2013 16:50

Poor GP3 - how did the wiping go? Smooth has a habit of lying on any food he wants to hide from Scruffy. As he's white it does lead to some odd stains Confused

DH gave me a fright the other day when he shrieked after seeing a red patch on DBoar2's fur (on the white side.) Then he realised he'd only fallen asleep on a strawberry! :)

FernieB · 31/07/2013 17:21

Aaah - a little strawberry pig - very cute Grin

cornypepper · 31/07/2013 17:22

this is why I always wrap mine in a towel!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/07/2013 23:33

Grin I gave GP3 a rub with a baby wipe.
He was very judgey (and a bit sticky)

"Don't wash me woman . I'm Swiss" he raged. "Read up your Guinea Lynx"

Then and Hmm and wandered off (to find something else to roll in)
