And what is normal for a boar?

When I first got Big Pig in April he was 567kg. (He was about 4 months)
He is now a whopping 1047kg! (At 8/9 months)
Anyone know if this is normal?

Little Pig was 434kg (5 weeks) when we bought him home and he is now 824kg (5 months (? will have to double check that) ) .

Is Big Pig now mature or is he going to get bigger ? Confused Shock

I think my scales are way off when I look at the chart. According to that, GP1 is 25g heavier than GP2 which is way off track.
GP1 is a smooth boy.Gp2 is a little Abby boy.

Food in/Pooh out is good.
GP2 has always been a bit bony (we've had them a year)
GP1 is possibly carrying a few more ounces than he should but he's got to weather the winter.

(When they had their check-up, the Rodentologist said they were a "good weight".)
They are fairly active for lazy boars Grin

I bought my little piggles some mixed beetroot salad (no iceberg) and they troughed down a helping with their supper (mine still don't drink water so I need to make sure they have jiucy veg)

DD was horrified at the colour of GP2 pooh.....until she twigged-it was a beetroot pooh Grin
