a few things i would like to know please:
-which would you say are generally more social with children? i originally wanted a rabbit but a lot of people have said that rabbits are more likely to hide away than gps (feel free to tell me if this is a load of rubbish)
-is it better to get two rather than one. don't want it to be lonely.
-do males or females tend to be friendlier or does it make no difference whatsoever
-would i be ok getting a second hand hutch and run from a car boot sale or similar? was a bit shcked at the cost of the hutches and runs.
-would we be ok leaving them whilst at work?
-we do get foxes in the garden at night. would this mean that we can't keep the hutch outside in the summer months, or would we be ok as long as we could close the doors on the hutch?
i'm a bit new to this and want to give the animal a nice life so any other advice you could give me would be great :)

Oh no a failed fosterer isn't bad, it's someone who fails at giving them back Wink I adopted him, I couldn't bear to part with him and he wouldn't live with another rabbit in 'his' area so it suited him having a person around all the time and me having him there as mine.
I used the cable covers from IKEA aswell, do they not still do it? When I couldn't get hold of that I just popped on amazon and bought critter cord. Never thought of looking in a DIY store but its a good idea.

Oh ...I see what you mean....I can understand that...you can't help but get attatched ,I would be a right failure at fosteringGrin .What is the critter cord like I saw that when I was looking. My main problem is the very thin wire the phone has .When it falls down that's it...phone useless.Ive just had to buy another new phone...

I got attached to them all in one degree or another but the big guy was just so special, and he had some health issues. Once he was settled I loved him and it didn't seem fair to unsettle him again! Plus he was so large I was worried someone would keep him in a garden and he was so good indoors. Nothing wrong with failing Wink
I thought the critter cord was pretty good, but I had a cordless phone and the charging stand was in the hallway where bunny wasn't allowed incase he escaped out of the open door so I'm not sure how well it would work for a phone sorry Blush

I will try it . Because I've literally bought about 4 new phones in as many months...or I could try and tape the wire up on the wall....The little monkeys.Ive already made sure they can't get their chops round any mains cables which is of course really important....They also enjoy the odd bit of wallpaper ...the little monkeys!!!!
Banjo is quite big too...I find he is more affectionate than the little dwarf rabbit and have read that the bigger rabbits are on the whole. The little one stomps his feet if he thinks a cuddle is approaching but does put up with a snuggle very well behaved. The vets commented on how good they were when they had vaccinations recently ...and check over including temp check.Grin
