introducing rabbits

Another new addition to the family (I have to stop taking in waifs and strays!)
I am rehoming a 4 month old female dutch that a friend can no longer keep.
She hasn't been spayed yet, but once done, I though it best to adopt another rabbit for company (I have never kept a rabbit on their own, and even as a house rabbit she will not be able to have free roam because of the rest of the zoo). I was thinking of the local rescue.
SO, how do I go about introducing her to another? Can I take her to the RSPCA or another rescue, and introduce her there? How will I know if they're "paired"? I don't really want to risk ending up with 2 bunnies in 2 cages.
Or should we keep her as a single, and provide extra stimulation, build a covered run indoors? (outdoors is not an option due to the local foxes)
Any suggestions?

Once spayed take her to a rescue and they'll do the bonding for you. Be prepared they might need to try her with a few boys until she finds one she likes. Usually they keep them at the rescue for 2 or 3 days, sometimes longer, until the bond is established. Very very unlikely that a male/female bond will break down, unless you try to introduce more rabbits later.
To be honest even though single indoor bunny is much preferable to single outdoor bunny rabbits really need their own company so i would definitely get her a partner. Good luck!
