Getting 2 female rabbits next week and think I should get pet insurance.

Any hints on where is Cheapest best and rough ideas on how much it costs?

I had mine insured with More Than, but in the end I found it was better to open up a regular savers account and put money into that. There's not much that can go wrong - I think the most expensive is probably a broken leg, and if it can be fixed it's only going to set you back a couple of hundred pounds. More Than charged about £7 per month for mine, and on the one occasion I needed major treatment, it still only cost £75. With an excess of £50 it's just not worth the hassle.
This was a few years ago now though - things may have changed!

We haven't bothered insuring our two. Like LTBC says, the insurance is quite expensive and there isn't that much that can go wrong. Three years in, we've definitely saved money by paying as we go rather than using insurance. For ours, they are house rabbits and rarely go out, so unlikely to be any accidents. The biggest worry is any dental work when they get older but I just can't see how it would be more expensive than the insurance we would have had to have paid over the years.
