Giving up vaping with nicotine patches

I used to smoke and gave up about 8 years ago, by vaping. Now I want to stop vaping and I'm using nicotine patches. Has anyone else done this? Was it successful and how long did it take?

I've given up smoking with patches and a bit of a vape. The main thing for me was to just make sure I wore the patches everyday, and not sweat it too much if I caved and smoked as the matches make it unsatisfying and it helps you kick the habit.

If I was vaping already though I might just try to reduce the concentration of nicotine until I was just vaping air and then phase that out.

Absolutely no need for expensive patches. Just use an open system and gradually reduce your level to zero. 20mg - 10mg - 6mg or 3mg.

I've been vaping around 9 years OP and would love to quit.

I tried patches but they made me feel quite sick/faint and super nauseous it was horrendous (think the nicotine was too high) so I switched to the 2mg gum which was going okay for about 4 days until I kept getting horrible mouth ulcers and dry mouth and my jaws ached from chewing so much 🤣

So sadly I'm still on my vape, I used 3mg of nicotine but it's never out of my hand, I wonder would a lower nicotine patch help me, I'm not sure but I HATE that I can't kick this ridiculous habit!

I've stopped vaping with patches and haven't vaped/smoked for a year (smoker for 15 years and vaped for 2. Had to switch to the step 2 patches faster than it said though as step 1 is pretty high dose
