My face is suddenly looking much younger

The fine lines have disappeared completely and the deeper lines are less deep. My whole face just looks a bit more plumped up and fuller and the skin is quite soft.

Is this just a temporary thing because it's hot and humid? If so it'll be the only positive thing about the weather so far, I hate being too hot.

Someone has been administering botox while you are asleep.

I have small children who could possibly administer toothpaste, I really hope they're not handling sharp ojbects like needles.

I did put on a couple of kilos at Easter, but I have been slowly loosing it since then. I'm not sure why the extra fat would migrate to my face just now. I'm still 10kg lighter than I was 18 months ago, so I ought to be saggier.

Sadly, no to the lover. Have been with DH for about 24 years. Happily, yes to the recent intense orgasm. However I've been having those regularly for approx 24 years (not coincidently the same 24 years that I've been with DH). If it's caused by that I ought to look like a toddler by this stage.

I did wonder whether my eyesight was going, but I haven't noticed any less detail on other thing.

Have you been drinking loads of water because of the weather?

I haven't been taking anything special, and I've only been drinking slightly more water.

I do normally have very dry skin, so the constant sweating might be helping to keep it a bit more dewy. If I don't use my oil cleanser regularly my skin tends to start to look a bit lizardy.

Could be your eyesight ...

I have become more shortsighted (I think) - mirrors are kinder now.

I was thinking about my eyesight, but it would have to have been a sudden deterioration.

I'll do a review in September, we'll be living in Ireland then so it'll be colder and windier. If my skin goes back to normal then I'll know it was the weather.

I thought mine did too but turns out I've not cleaned the the bathroom mirror very well, has a vaseline film effect over it.

Oh goody, leprosy! We do have a family tradition of catching very rare things so it's not impossible. My Dad had Legionnaires about 20 years ago, I think it was the first recorded case in Ireland. I had a very nasty bout of HSS when I was having IVF, it was the first case of it that my IVF doctor had had that required hospitalisation.

GoodnightNobody (my DS loves that story btw) I definitely look younger in all the mirrors. I checked with DH and he thinks I look less haggard than usual (he's a sweet talker ).
