wouldn't choose linen on a plane just as it will look exactly like I have fallen out of bed when I leave the plane.

I wore some just below knee length denim shorts. Very soft denim.
With a sleevless smocky summery top. Flat sandals. Always take a small shrug in case its cold for me or the dc's.

mrsgiggle · 07/07/2010 21:33

Was thinking about leggings and a loose smock kind of top, with a jacket and either ballet pumps or sandles?

cotton layers.
Leggings, tee shirts, vests, cardys, converse trainers and I usually have flip flops in my carry on.

Exogenesis · 07/07/2010 21:37

I tend to wear skirt and t shirt then a cardi. cool, light and not sticky or uncomfortable. The last time I flew I wore Jeans and spent the 4 1/2 hour flight cursing mysely for it.

myself even, sorry. Maybe shouldn't have had that 2nd glass of wine.

Last flight I took I wore slim chinos, loose fit vest, belted cotton cardi and gold glads. I always take at least a cotton scarf with me on the flight, and sometimes a cashmere wrap that I have which is so cosy when the aircon kicks in.

Leggings, leggings, leggings, leggings. Every time! Agree with the layering and the loose tunic/smock type top too.

Personally, I never have enough space for the wrap so tend to steal my husband's clothes when it gets nippy

trumpton · 08/07/2010 08:20

Always take a wrap with me as I am always cold on planes ( when I am not sweating with fear )
