leggings that are tights?

i bought this dress for a wedding. however, i have some veins on my legs that i am uncomfortable showing so want to wear leggings with the dress. i want sheer ones though as i think it will look more eveningy.

i got some from amazon which will be donated to my 10yo niece as they are that small

but the review says this:

I bought these thinking they were cropped leggings, as shown in the photo but they're full length. I have 32" inside leg so it's not because I'm short! I have these in grey and altho they are described as leggings I would call them footless tights these
