What to wear at night on holiday?

Hi, I am going to Mallorca in August. It is a couple of years since I have been abroad.

What does everyone wear these days? I have got a maxi dress, some linen short, a white skirt and some cropped trousers with strappless tops and vests tops. Does this seem the norm!! smiley face

Absolutely spot on, imo

I don't usually wear trousers in the evenings though - I find them too hot & uncomfortable. I usually wear knee length sundresses.

Take a light cotton wrap/scarf with you (H&M is brilliant source). Not only will it keep the aircon chill off your neck on the flight, it will be very useful for milder evenings (not that you should have any in Mallorca in August but you never know). It can also transform a "meh" outfit into something a little more stylish - no idea how this works but it does

Your cotton scarf will also be useful for throwing over DCs during day or night when they need a nap.....assuming DCS are of napping age

I also take:

2 x flat leather soled strappy sandals (1 pr gold, 1 pr silver)
Silver, gold and wood bangles.
Silver & gold pendant (1 of each)

Whereabouts in Mallorca are you going to?

Agree with Tulpe.

I think a pair of gold and pair of silver sandals are great. I tend to wear flip flops in the day (assuming it is a beach holiday) and silver and gold go with everything. I used to take tons of sandals on holiday but now only take 3 pairs. I have a slightly more glitzy pair which I wear instead of heels in the evening.

H&M have some lovely big scarves in atm. There is a creamy white one with a gold thread through it (I got it in black and gold too) and a few different animal print ones. New Look worth a look for scarves too - and River Island.

I like jumpsuits and have a few tailored ones I like wearing on holiday in the evening but not everyone's cup of tea.

Good advice re necklaces and bangles too. I take the same as Tulpe and two pairs of fancy earrings too.

Have a nice holiday.
