janeite · 06/07/2010 20:33

I wore a grey skirt suit and black silk top today. And no cleavage on show!

tulpe · 06/07/2010 22:33

Fellatio - I have a vivid metallic purple on my nails at the moment. Lovely rich shade. Try it. You may like it

Today, I have mostly been wearing:

White tunic dress with pale blue embroidery detail (Whistles)
Navy cropped leggings (Zara)
Silver sandals (Next......about 5 years ago but still going strong )

racingheart · 06/07/2010 22:52

Long blue and white East skirt
Uniqlo T
M&S shades
Ancient black sandals from clarks that I accidentally kept on after cleaning the kitchen and was embarrassed to be seen out in. But then someone came up to me at the pool to ask where I got them as she liked them. (Maybe her friend dared her as a joke.)

Bobbalina · 07/07/2010 06:49

Cream linen mix wide leg toast trousers with a fawn pinstripe, grey vest top, fawn wrapover cropped short sleeved Cardigan, suede fit flops.

FellatioNelson · 07/07/2010 07:15

A bit dull and overcast and much cooler here today. Going bra shopping (oh the joy) so need easy access to the norks and don't want to have to take entire kit off just to reach top half.

So: will probably opt for bootcut jeans, nice fitted tee-shirt in pale coffee, big silk scarf in coral with faint multicoloured stripes ans tiny sequins (just call me Liberace) and floaty cream waterfall cardigan. High heeled but very comfy strappy sandals in coral/orange colour.

Might go for a bit of make up as well. Bare Essensuals mineral foundation, (a light dusting), day-time smokey eyes and peachy lipgloss.

Was that TMI? Beyond the call of duty?

AnyFucker · 07/07/2010 07:28

gah, I missed this yesterday when I was for once not wearing jeans and flip flops (as I am today, with a lovely soft washed out purplish tee) but was in a fabulous hot pink linen shift with jewelled sandals, and a silver and leather necklace

(see what I did there?!)

lumpsdumps · 07/07/2010 16:57

New Look rolled up chinos
cream and black long sleeved top
black pumps

Been to work in a sunny/showery Cheshire

janeite · 07/07/2010 17:26

Black and white silk skirt - black background with white silhouettes of naked and clothed ladies;

black camisole;

black cotton cropped cardigan;

ballet flats;

pearls and a black leather bracelet.

I am going for the 1950s deranged housewife look.

Mittz · 07/07/2010 17:45

I now have my dungarees on and a coral t-shirt
and some of these but without the bar they are my happy shoes and I don't care if I look like jon-boy!!

FellatioNelson · 07/07/2010 20:47

Oh God No. Bra shopping is the pits. I have to try on about 35 to find three that actually fit properly and don't make me look like Madonna in her conical tits phase. And I'm an E cup so trying to find anything suitable for wearing under low cut tops (that doesn't have straps that look like they'd hold up the Clifton suspension bridge) is the ultimate challenge.

Anyway, I've got loads of new ones now, (after two lengthy shopping trips) so won't have to do it again for another 4 years or so!

The trouble is, being an E cup, I can always find loads of shagging bras, (you know, the really OTT sort that look stupid and lumpy under clothes) but not normal, smooth, everyday wearing bras.

coolkat · 07/07/2010 20:52

Ah Fellatio, I am an E cup and recently invested in 2 new Panache moulded strapless bra's, wearing them with straps most of the time but I am really pleased with them, managed to get them for £15.00 each to so very pleased.

I also hate Bra shopping!

MayorNaze · 08/07/2010 08:43

no no bra shopping is great fun if you are absolutely sure what size you are. mostly my undies look like rejects from a tarts bodouir anyway

black leggings
greeny flowery long shirt thing
grey jewelled glads

bright pink pants with a jewelled cherry thing and salmon polka dot bra with navy ribbons

FN have a look at [http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product=Wonderbra-Ultimate-Strapless-lace-bra&product_id=WA -9323-ULT&size=&colour=Ivory this]]. On another thread about 10 of us have it and love it. I'd go up a back size and down a cup size when ordering / order a few sizes to try on as returns are free. I also have two Panache ones which I like a lot but the cups are a lot bigger so they can show under certain clothes.

Oh, and I am wearing my dressing gown .

monkeysmama · 08/07/2010 08:47

Oops, here

LaDietrich · 08/07/2010 09:50

pintucked pleats navy cotton cap sleeved granfather necked shirt (follow that?!)buttoned up high

dark denim fifties style knee kength skirt (50s as in it flares out from hips - by means of interesting pleated device which am not sure I quite understand)

liberty print fit flops from last year

I like this outfit

(in my bag in case of chills is a dark olive green military style jacket and a lovely big green and purple merino scarf/wrap thingie)

I love this weather - find it much easier to dress nice rather than jeans, boots and a warm top

go with the dark purple nail polish FN - I have some on today and I loike it lots

FellatioNelson · 08/07/2010 10:33

Thanks for the link - I'll have a look. I have some Panache strapless ones as well, and they do stay up (via horrid sticky rubber stuff round your ribs,) but you are right, the cups are very high and they show above anything low cut.

FellatioNelson · 08/07/2010 10:37

Mittz - Wow, those shoes certainly are...erm, happy!
