Did my first ever hair colour last night. Put auburn dye onto mid-brown hair, and it hasn't made much of a difference. When i did the strand test (get me, yes I actually did one) it didn't look that much different until the dye had been on for the full twenty minutes, but as I was nervous about how it would take on teh lighter front part of my hair, I just left it on for ten minutes.
I have another packet of the same colour, and I'm tempted just to bung it on too . . .
