Is it ok to wear black open toed sandals to a funeral, without tights, and if so, what colour varnish for toenails???

It is soooo hot. I have a longish length black dress and shrug. I am not sure what the etiquette is re tights/shoes......

I know it sounds daft, but I wouldn't want to cause any offence IYSWIM.

Yes, no offence but I'm sure the last thing on people's minds will be the colour of your nail varnish.

A pale pink prob would be best.

I don't think there is such a thing as "correct funeral attire" any more. Certainly a couple of years ago not everyone wore black at my Dad's funeral.
