What do you all use for those little small areas of dry flaky skin.

I thnk mine is stress-related and flares up and nothing I use seems to help. I veer between natural (like rosehip oil) to the old non-perfumed stalwarts like e45 back to wild rose balm)

It's almost like a very, very mild psoriasis, slightly round, silvery dry patches and of course any makeup and I use a light LM tinted moisturiser shows them up

Try HC45, my GP recommended it (off the record). The pharmacist will say "is this for use on your face" to which you answer NO! However, used in very small doses and only occasionally, it can really sort out those patches you describe.

Use a teeny teeny bit once or twice and you should see a difference, I did.

I had the same problem during pregnancy. I stuck to natural (Dr Hauschka Rose Cream and natural oils). To be honest the only thing that made a difference was diet. I stopped eating dairy for a while and it cleared up entirely.
It went away completely post pregnancy so I guess it was a hormonal thing.

thanks anonymousbird - I remember using my mothers. I think I have some.

I use Neal's Yard wild rose balm and a muslin, or cold cream and cotton wool.

I think this isn't so much caused by products, but by stress, that said I reached for a rubbish l'oreal cream the other week and last time I used it, same issue.

Clinique = Nitromors

E45 is good for dry patches, or bio-oil
