What can I wear to an eighties party?

I was young and gorgeous in the eighties

And didn't keep any of my clothes so cannot for the life of me remember what I wore. It wasn't the crap that's around now though.

I have leggings. But it's a bit warm for them. I do not have puffball and don't hold with htem - never wore a ra ra skirt in the eighties either.

Oh bugger it I'm going to bed.

Or lots of pears, back combed hair and fingerless lace gloves (although I've no idea where you get them in the style of madonna.

One of friends had an eighties icons parties and went as Princess Diana on her wedding day.

It's just so hot out there and leggings and long t-shirt with loads of crosses and back combed hair just sounds so... overheated

what did they do in summer in the eighties? I just can't remember.

How about a metallic prom dress with lots of beads? My choice for summer 80s wear would be a CHOOSE LIFE or FRANKIE SAYS RELAX t-shirt with a ra-ra skirt. If the t-shirt was really long then maybe you could wear it as a dress?

Try matching shoes, handbag, earrings, necklace, bangle and, possibly even underwear and you'll soon start feeling the part. You may clash the colour of your clothes with the accessories, but the accessories must all match!!!
