I need some sympathy :(

I got my haircut on Friday and I don't like it . It's a good cut, and it's what I asked for, but now I have it I don't like it! It's too short! Oh well. At least it will grow. I might like it better in a month [hopeful!].

Oh, you have my sympathy. I chopped my shoulder length hair into a pixie crop 2 years ago. I hated it and it took nearly a year to grow it back to a length I liked. Hope yours doesn't take that long!

It's my own stupid fault for forgetting that how a haircut looks on someone in a photo is not how it's going to look on you . And it's just that bit too short.

Verity - I once chopped long hair into above my ears kind of short. I quite liked it, everyone else hated it! Actually I think it probably looked pretty bad, but I still quite liked it. And it took forever to grow out! Thankfully this time I just went from sitting on shoulders length to jaw length, so not quite so drastic.....

Amelia, when I came home from the hairdressers with the short hair, dd who was 4 at the time burst into tears! She started to cry every time she looked at me for about a week.

If yours is jaw length now, it'll be perfect in a month, my hair always grows quicker in summer [delusional emoticon]

Try experimenting with different styling products to change the look. Stuff that works with longer hair might not be the best for short.
