Hi everyone,

Now where do I start, I keep getting spots on my chin around my time of the month and each month, I was told to give up chocolate which I did with reluctance however noticed no change! still got spots, have tried clinique's anti blemish gel but it leaves horrible scars on my face.... I am so and would really appreciate your advice. I am happy to try our new products but don't want to go to a brauty counter as they sell you products that don't always work! have wasted lots of money this way!!! I have senstive skin...............

try sudocrem? I find it drying but that might be a good thing with spots, and have seen people here recommend it.

I find that the oil cleanser method is great for despotting etc, sounds counterintuitive but works brilliantly for me

both nice and cheap

I used to suffer with quite bad spots until I started using daily. I think it is more to do with the muslin that the actual cleanser and I have heard many people say that washing your skin with a muslin will improve it.

Failing that I did once go to the doctors and they prescribed some cream which did work.

Sudocrem is great for spots....

Same issue for me.

This sorted it.

Just realised my link didn't work - it's similar to the stuff Franup has recommended

great, thank you, I have sensitive skin so will this be ok? after using it did you notice a change immediately?

Noticed the change vvery quickly indeed - but keep the muslins clean! I have used the cult eve lom balm in the past and that gave me a small dry patch. The boots time delay doesn't at all.

Not tried the sanctuary one, but like their general face wash and use that in the morning and the time delay balm at night.

thank you so much, will go and get some today and let you all know how I get on

I use Eve Lom cleanser religiously and that keeps my skin really clear. I suspect some of the other hot cloth cleansers would work equally well but I'm too scared to stop Eve Lom now!

She does a spot treatment called Dynaspot which is also really good - you could try using that on any breakouts. I have sensitive skin and it treats any spots without irritating my skin.

tea tree oil is good.
i put it neat onto my spots and they do go without making my oily skin more greasy.

i also find keeping my nails very very short helps.

Are you on the Pill? If so you might want to try switching to Dianette. The spots you are getting are classic hormonal related spots and Dianette is really good for those.

Have you thought about talking to your Doctor, I know it sounds a bit drastic. But I've tried all kinds of things for my bad skin and eventually went to the Doctor and they gave me some antibiotic cream to use at night. Couple of weeks later and my skin is so much better.

Its worth the price of the perscription in my opinion.
