I want a maxi dress that won't make look like a giant sofa. Any one know of any flattering styles for larger ladies?

I am 5ft9, size 16 (and shrinking ) and rather gifted in the norks dept. I'm on a budget so nothing over, say £40, unless it's v v v nice.

Does such dress exist? It will be evening wear for my holiday and then day wear back here, weather allowing.

There is one in wallis. I have the black one. It is very flattering I think.
