What bra size should I be wearing?

I know there are some posters who are bra experts and I'm hoping they won't mind giving me some advice.

I am usually a 30C, however I am 34 weeks pregnant at the moment and my breasts have grown quite a bit. I am currently wearing a 30DD but I think my ribcage has expanded as well now.

I measure 31 inches around my ribcage and 38 inches around the fullest part of my breasts. I have tried a few online bra size calculator things but they all seem to do that add 4/5 inches thing and I'm sure I've read on MN that that is old hat.

I am going to Rigby and Peller in a few weeks to get a few nursing bras but I would like to buy a couple of M&S cheapies to see me through the next few weeks.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

forget about the measurements.

how does the bra you are currently wearing fit - what makes you think it is not the right size?

Thanks both.

I always make sure the band is quite tight, but it is getting uncomfortably so now.

The cups seem to cut in a bit on the outside of my breast, and barely contain my nipples. I will try a 32DD and see how I go with that.

It's a bit odd having these knockers and I look at my old bras and wonder how they ever fitted. It's particularly gutting as I went to Vegas on holiday in November and bought lots of beautiful lingerie, then came back pregnant! So although I suppose in a sense it did the job, I didn't get much wear out of it.

I cannot go to Bravissimo. That is for girls with TITS. Surely I don't have TITS.

[shock[
