My wedding dress - can you help me find shoes?!

Please help! I've bought my wedding dress, from here - the pencil dress in the blue bird fabric.

The only problem I face now is trying to find a pair of shoes that go with it. Any ideas? I love shoes by Irregular Choice, but none of them seem to go... Any other suggestions? I want something with a bit of a heal but not scarily high (like 6 inches), platforms are great as I'm a short arse, but any suggestions would be fab!

These?

I am rubbish at these things, but love the dress and the shoes, so bumping for more helpful fashionistas!

Oh what a lovely dress.

You've given me an idea, though I would prefer to try it on before buying. How long is it?

I think the first shoes from ggirl look lovely to go with your fabric.

How about these Irregular choice, not very high though maybe the colour isn't quite right.

How about something like this

Probably too high?

any use?

NorkilyChallenged · 26/06/2010 11:17

Too patterned?

I think that's the problem with the Irregular Choice ones, when the dress has such a dominant pattern you probably don't want patterned shoes...

NorkilyChallenged · 26/06/2010 11:19

Looks too high doesn't it? Doesn't say heel height for some reason

NorkilyChallenged · 26/06/2010 11:21

I think yellow shoes would look nice, here's a selection of yellow platforms (though the Ravel ones look too high)

Miss Sixty

Ravel in the sale

Nine West though cork heel/wedge which might put you off

More mustard than yellow but I like the retro style.

I will stop now!

Hey thanks so much for all your replies! I love some of those shoes. Sorry for not replying sooner - spent the weekend without internet (oh, the pains!). The last Irregular Choice ones are so lovely, they also do them in blue for half price, so I might go for those. I like the Trinny and susannah ones but they don't have them in my size...

I'm no fashionista, so I don't really understand these things, but is it ok to wear two different shades of blue? Or will it 'clash' or seem too much?

And Norkily the dress comes to the knees, although ones in other styles are slightly shorter and they also do a full length (ankle length) dress. They are a fab dress shop, and will make up the dresses with varying bust and body sizes, so I can actually get a dress that fits both body and bosom! Amazing. I'm sure if you call them they will post them out to you so you can try them on.
