Do you think that those boob tube maxi dresses look ok on 40+ers? It's just that they look so cool for the warm weather but i am a little worried about that little fold of skin that appears at the top of the arms and wonder if that style draws the eye to that area?

Unless you have very small or amazingly pert boobs, they do tend to squish your assets into a sausage shape, there may be other maxi dresses out there that are more flattering up top.

I would say you really need to try them on: I am 40 and thought couldn't wear them, partly as just looked too Margot (Good Life), but having tried two, actually like them! Top tip from lady in shop, proved right, much to my surprise, was to try a smaller size than usual. This proved sound advice and avoided the maternity look. Know what you mean re the dodgy area, but don't think necessarily bad idea, just get the right style.
