My skin is very dry but I need something non-comedo....comodo...um, one that doesn't clog pores.

Expensive or el cheapo, I dont mind - tho obv I'd be v happy to hear of some miracle product that costs £2.99

I like No7, Lift and Luminate (£18-ish) in the day- I am 33 and have freckly prone to being dry skin, and then Neuotregena Ultra Balm (£4-ish) at night. I also use No7 Lift and Luminate eye cream.

I use Nivea Q10 and only buy it when it's half price in Superdrug which is most of the time, so it's a fiver a pot. it's really silky, really good for dry sensitive skin and seems to get rid of fine lines. Smells nice too.

pastmaster · 17/06/2010 22:40

I've got "combination" skin, which means I get very dry patches and a greasy "T" zone resulting in spots on nose and chin. The most successful product I've used recently is Vitamin E moisturiser from Body Shop. Its light. The pot lasts ages too. I used to love the Carrot moisturiser, also from body shop, but they stopped doing it several years ago

coffeeinbed · 18/06/2010 07:46

neal's yard frankincense here as well.
and if you can face using oil - Trilogy has lovely facial oils, make all the diffrence for me.

ColdBunny · 18/06/2010 08:48

Elemis Marine Cream. Not cheap, but a little goes a long way, and it is fantastic. I have combination to dry skin, and I am very impressed with it.

Bucharest · 18/06/2010 08:52

Neal's Yard Frankinsense here too. Or the Elemis one. Both great, I'd say the NY has the edge.

olderandwider · 18/06/2010 16:52

No thoughts on moisturisers but if you have dry skin you must must must spritz first with one of those Evian or similar mister sprays before you apply moisturiser. You are trapping a fine layer of water onto your skin, and that is what will help to hydrate it. Don't use too much - the lightest spritz is all you need - on or two touches of the button.

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/06/2010 16:55

Kiehls Abyssine cream, it is excellent. Really moisturises dry patches and has a very high SPF as well. Lovely consistency. Highly recommend it, my brother bought it for me for xmas and I was delighted, not used anything since.

sootysmummy · 18/06/2010 17:01

I have used hundreds of moisturisers over the years, almost all premium ones. Using Liz Earle skin repair for dry skin at the mo and it is very good, moisturising but not greasy and you only need to use a little. Also reasonablly priced (compared to other ones I have tried) think it was about £17 in JL

ILoveGregoryHouse · 18/06/2010 17:04

Am liking the elemis marine cream at the moment too. Saving up for the night time one.

swissrole · 18/06/2010 17:58

liz earle superskin is the best ever. I have fine lines and dry skin. Frankinsense was a little greasy for me.

BetterGetTheKidsTeaOn · 18/06/2010 18:03

Faith in Nature moisturisers are lovely, not extortionate and not full of chemicals. Not sure about the anti ageing effects, although no-one would ever guess I'm really 103!
