But a friends daughter has set her heart on this for her prom, but in pink. Its sold out online, and the one they had in the shop here (apparently the only satalite store) was a size too big.

Is anyone near the London shop who could see if they had it in there?

Or suggestions of a similar dress? Prom is in three weeks, so running on a bit of a deadline!

She is a size 8 and very naturally pale, so washed out colours are a no-go.

Lovely dress and so is the one Moneyspider linked too. Not excatly the same but esprit do a lovely drapey dress in pink - but its got one shoulder. Website is terrible for doing links too but go to here, then go to womens, then dresses, then smart and the dress is a couple of rows downand called Stylish one shoulder dress. Also comes in black and is a very heavy jersey so drapes really well and is v flattering. Out of stock in a small and xs but maybe they will help you track one down? Good luck

Check the size in lipsy tho' I bought DD a lipsy in sale and it was tiny. Luckily I was able to sell it on to ( tinier ) friend.

Thank you all - she doesn't like the Lipsy one with straps on or the colour of the espirit one. It doesn't appear to be in stock anywhere so I have a feeling it might be out of production
