if such a thing exists!
I have normal skin but have recently noticed my rather unattractive large pores

I would try a primer - try teh Loreal professionals one (about £12). Has the benefit of hiding wrinkes as well.

do i need a foundation as well on top of a primer?
it starts to get a bit pricey then...

I this No 7 shine free make-up base which really reduces pores.

Then use foundation on top. Lasts forever as you only need a small blob.

You'd also benefit from a oil free foundation/tinted moisturiser.

I bought the dermalogica tinted oil free foundation and it is not really enough coverage for me. I have quite a bit of redness round my nose and chin that i like to disguise a bit!

I love the Avon MagiX base They do it as a foundation too.

I also have large pores where I have oily skin and this is the best thing I've ever used. I purchased it after reading all of these wonderful reviews here. I've used many other things which claim to reduce pores or control shine but this was the only one that delivered. You don't have to wear a foundation over it if you don't want to. I very often don't, just blob a bit of concealer over my red areas and it looks great. It's also fairly cheap.

I had thought about giving Avon a go (having not bought anything from them since about 1989)
And that stuff is reduced as well - bingo!
I shall have a proper look at their website later and might treat myself!
