Muckboots - apparently good for those with "sturdy" calves, but any good with stumpy legs ?

Not sure if this question truly comes under "style" let alone "beauty", but please help !

I am urgently in need of a good welly. So far, in my research, muckboots seem to come out tops for those, shall we say, "rotund of calf", like myself. BUT.....my legs are short as well and that has been a problem with previous welly purchases.
So.....has anyone with short legs had success with muckboots ?
Hunters were way too high for me and Huntress were just a bizarre fit, so I'm kind of hoping that these muckboots will be my holy grail of wellingtons.

I don't know but would like to know the answer.

I totally agree about huntress bein a bizzarre fit.

yes - muckboots MUCH lower than hunters. No need to worry about that

Do you have a pair faustina - are they easy to get off/on?

faustina · 11/06/2010 07:42

yes I do, and yes they are - you can kick them off - no need to sit down and pull, like conventional wellington boots. Everything past the ankle is soft (neoprene) so it just stretches as you pull your foot up and out - it's brilliant

I have a pair of the mid-calf ones and they are awesome, and very easy to get on and off.

Thanks faustina and InvaderZim !

I'm off to buy some now...very excited !

Thanks again
