Calling all hairdressers!

I had my hair highlighted a few weeks ago and it's not really blonde enough for me.

I know that my hair does go really blonde as I am naturally quite fair and it does lift really well.

There is a patch of hair where it is the perfect colour - I think where she started off as this was obviously left on longer.

My fringe just looks really yellow and brassy and not light enough.

The problem I have is that they have a policy of not bleaching over bleach, so does this mean that I have to live with the yellow until it grows out and have blonde roots?

Or do I just go to a different hairdresser?

The best solution would be to have more highlights, and a toner too if it's needed. Unless your hair is very processed, I don't see why any hairdresser would refuse to do this. Ring them and ask if they will highlight it sommor/again.

Thanks midori

I don't know why they have this policy - I've been getting my hair highlighted for 13 years and every hairdresser bar this one has highlighted over bleach.

Last time I begged her and she skimmed some over the top - maybe I'll try that next time.

I don't really want to change hairdressers as it is a nice salon within walking distance.
