Comfortable heels! Please recommend

Alright you lovely people.

I need to invest in some new shoes as ALL mine are falling to bits. I have a problem buying shoes as I have absolutely zero tolerance with uncomfortable ones and worry about wasting money on shoes which will hurt my feet. However I've got a lot of weddings to go to and need to get some heels.

SO can I have your recommendations please for comfortable heels - I like something a little quirky but not ridiculous. (I've just ordered these for an idea of my taste...)

Shoes need to a) stay on b) not rub c) not be too high d) not have plastic inners that make your feet all sweaty d) not be too unstable (I don't like wobbling about cos I've got weak ankles!)

Terribly demanding I know. But I'd be really grateful for any recommendations.

Thanks!

I have these and they are really comfy

I have these here They are really comfortable but are only suitable if you have dainty feet as the strap is quite short.

All the hush puppies I have are comfortable, and campers are the ultimate funky bt comfy shoes...

I was going to suggest those OU ones as someone else linked to them on another thread and they do look v comfy.
I was in Office last week and they had quite a few shoes with the same sort of heel so maybe look there too?

Ooh loads of places I haven't thought of looking! Thanks everyone! (eshermummy I love those office ones but I ended up between sizes when I tried them on - good thinking though)

I have the same problems and I find Clarks can be surprisingly trendy and always relaible for comfort. Ditto M&S footglove, Jane Shilton, Fly (they come up very wide) and Roberto Cavelli for posh going out shoes.
