Nice, flattering swim suits, that are IN STOCK in a size 16, will support my boobs and are NOT black?

I have found loads that I like, but they are all sold out in every size, but size 32. I plan on getting smaller, not larger.

The only ones I can find are black and fugly or look like something my Gran would wear.

Any ideas please?

I got a lovely purple floral haltertop suit from B*den.
Very flattering and pretty.

KristinaM · 06/06/2010 23:08

do you have big boobs? if so you need underwired, whatever your dress size

ShinyAndNew · 06/06/2010 23:33

Yes, I do. 40DD.

Bravissimo! Or try Very, they do cup size cozzys in their Resort range I believe

ShinyAndNew · 06/06/2010 23:51

Oh there are lots on Very that I like. And a nice red one Bravissimo. And we have an account with Very. I don't know why I didn't look there first.

Thank you.

Have you tried SimplyBe?

here

gingerkirsty · 07/06/2010 00:07

Ooh jolly good. I have won a lovely purple tankini from Resort on ebay, am hoping it will fit as am huge and milky of nork so prev beach wear just won't contain me!!!

melbob · 07/06/2010 00:55

Have you tried lands end?

gagamama · 07/06/2010 10:00

There's a lovely spotty one I tried on in John Lewis the other day, very flattering but just a bit too plungey for my norkage (38F). It's bra sized rather than dress sized but very sculpting. www.johnlewis.com/78909/Style.aspx

I've just won a Resort swimsuit off eBay too, gingerkirsty - had never heard of them before but they seem to do lots of cup sized swimmers, hope it's ok!

FellatioNelson · 07/06/2010 13:19

Definitely second Bravissimo.

KristinaM · 07/06/2010 14:57

lands end not supportive enough for large norks IME. you need proper bar contraption inside swimwear, not just padded cups or some such nonsense

kittya · 07/06/2010 18:39

Is there any codes knocking about for Bravissimo? Ive been all over the shop today trying to get swimwear, its a nightmare if you have curves (are fat)

mippy · 09/06/2010 22:40

SimplyBe have a lovely Panache one. Or try Brastop.

rookiemater · 09/06/2010 22:58

I have bought this www.johnlewis.com/66448/Style.aspx. I am size 14, 34DD and it offers quite a lot of control but doesn't look like a control swimming costume.

Had a look at the bravissimo swim wear, wasn't impressed to be honest.

KristinaM · 10/06/2010 00:26

rookie - that is very pretty and the drapes on the tummy should be very flattering

sadly it will not be enough support for my norks as no underwire

muddleduck · 10/06/2010 11:29

I have the 'athens' tankini from bravissimo. it is amazing - first ever swimsuit that feels like a proper bra. loads of overlap between the two parts so no wobbly belly on show.

MadAboutTrifle · 10/06/2010 12:59

Have just ordered a something from Figleaves.com, they have some lovely stuff.
