Dress for the races - anyone want to help?

I'm off to the races in a couple of weeks.. Need a new dress that will also be suitable fir a couple of weddings later in the year (too poor to buy more than one outfit). Literally looked at a million dressed but can't find one that I like.

I am 28, about 5'5 and a 12. Big stomach but great norks and legs. Must wear bra.

I'd really like something short, sleeveless and preferably high cut, as I always have the norkaroos on show and I'd like to cover them up for a change! Though, I normally wear strapless/bandeau and this would be acceptable.

Short is important, mid thigh max. Not black.

Thanks for any ideas!

Have you ordered the French connection floral one up thread ?? I do feel your pain btw - I looked at hundreds of dresses for my best friend's wedding. I did end up with a Karen Millen one and was impressed with how it held my tummy in. Unfortunately, the only thing I have in common with you is the wobbly baby tummy. Everything else is distinctly average

this ?

too long ?

too casual ?
