This is the kind of thing I am looking at at Lakeland

but some of the reviewers say that their shoes fall off

I do not want my shoes falling off obv; but that's about the right size in terms of width and that

Ikea and John Lewis do good ones.

TheCappster · 06/06/2010 16:23

I did look at Ikea and the only thing they had was little tiny ones and those cabinets, which take up loads of space but only hold six pairs

will go check out John Lewis website though..

I got one a bit like the Ikea wooden one in size/shape from Argos which has 3 racks and takes at least 3 pairs per rail and sometimes 4 depending on bulk of shoes. It was a pain to screw together but works really well.

oooh - are you still looking? I want to show you my shoe rack. I'm so pleased about it.

Here

I'm fed up of the little wooden shaky ones, and this one has a v pleasing Lego-like build it how you like facility. It looks surprisingly okay too, and the compartments are deep enough for adult shoes, or two pairs of children's. You can leave a tall bit in the middle for boots too, see.

It's all very clever.
