Maxi dresses that don't make my arse look huge??

I don't even know if maxi dresses are still "in" but I quite like the idea. I spend the rest of the time in trousers and don't really like exposing my legs. I am a size 14 with a belly, but the dresses I have make me look 1) pregnant and 2) from behind I look huge. Has anyone found a nice one that is also flattering (and not too pricey)

I'm a size 12-14 pear shape. Bought a black one from monsoon in Friday. It's their beach collection but not on their website. It's black halter neck with silver threaded elasticated band under boobs. It is a heavy jersey type maxi so falls straight down from under boobs. It's the only one I'd tried which I didn't feel I looked pregnant in!!

Dorothy Perkins have a good selection - but you do need to try a lot on to find the one that suits you.
