does a spay tan last longer than one from a diy cream?

Normally I have no problems getting my bits out, but I cringe wnen my niples get erect with the cold spray

Luckily never had that happen

Just had another spray tan :)

This time I made sure I shaved the day before and didn't get the dark brown dots!

I have been advised to prepare my skin before hand by exfoliating once a day 2-4 days before, using a spray tan skin primer, to shave 24 hours before (some say 8 hours) and wax 24-96 hours before. It's best to leave the tan to develop overnight but you can get away with 4-10 hours with some solutions. If you can go without a shower for 24 hours even better! Your first shower should be a light, quick, warm (not hot) shower just to rinse off the solution with just water and no soap. You should avoid long, hot baths and long, hot showers, to pat not rub dry with a towel or even better air dry, not shave for 12-24 hours after and to wait 20-30 days before my next spray tan. Tan extender moisturisers are good but otherwise you should use a ph balanced 5.5 fragrance free moisturiser. You can also use a moisturiser with DHA once a day and the non-DHA moisturiser the 2nd/3rd time a day.

Don't do what my friend did and put socks on after though .

Also contact with heat for example from a cup when drinking hot drinks can strip colour from around your mouth and so can toothpaste, whilst the tan is developing.

Don't know if it's a choice where you live, but when I get a spraytan done, she comes to the house - which is fab! Usually book for the last of the evening and can then just put pjs on. Go to bed...wake up brown. Sheets do look like you just got back from Glastonbury, but it washes out - and it's xen-tan she uses, it smells like chocolate!
