Would you buy a £50 swim suit that required a bra size if you were still breastfeeding?

As above. have seen lovely spotty halter neck swimmy (or tankini) but norks are still bigger than usual from feeding 7 month old DD2. how important is it?

Is it a very exact size that is given? Some of them are stretchy enough to vary a bit.

FlouryBap · 31/05/2010 13:04

yes it is 32DD etc.hmmmm might just hope they are stretchy

No.

I bought a lovely bikini when I was 3 months pregnant with DS2.

It now hangs off me and I could just about wear it to sunbathe (but I don't sunbathe) but can't swim in it at all.

Let's have a look though
Am in similar position and spent a happy hour looking at suits and bikinis last night
Was it from Figleaves?

moragbellingham · 31/05/2010 20:30

Nope, the norks will go back to normal/smaller size probably.

Then you can buy a nice one to fit for a while. Doesn't solve your current problem though.

I wore a maternity tankini whilst they were still huge.

FYI - Never swim in breast pads, highly embarrassing when they expand and drop out!

dorisbonkers · 31/05/2010 20:41

yes. And I just carried on breastfeeding for two years!

I have bf for 3+ yrs but unfortunately my norks and ribcage shrank back after pregnancy.
