My mum (who is 63) wants to know where she can get some comfortable and fashionable shoes that don't make her look 150 years old She has arthritis in her foot so they have to be as comfy as possible. Any suggestions???

Thanks.

I would give Clarks a go.

German brands in Peter Jones/John Lewis- nice and comfy, esp. for wide feet

Hotter (online) have some surprisingly nice shoes for wider feet.

I have these Josef Seibal shoes and they are very comfortable and not too hideous (I'm 29!).

I am also covetting these.

I strongly recommend Geox, an Italian brand but they're not that easy to find. They have 2 shops in London. Also a list of stockists on their website.
