Gorgeous shoes .............. different sizes!!

so i've got a stunning pair of red high heeled (very SITC!) shoes that i got some years ago and one of them always felt a bit big.
Its only just occurred to me to check the sizing on each shoe and one of them is a size bigger than the other - as they're 5 years old i can't take them back!

However, as they're open-toed i don't know what to use as an "inner sole".

Anyeone else had this problem and if so what did you do?

TIA

i dunno, somehow I just don't think anyone else will have had this problem.

But you never know

As long as they are not mules you could put one of those gel heels grips in the back of the larger one.

I've done this with a pair that were slightly too big and slipped a little.

i have faith that even if no-one on MN has had this problem before then someone will still come up with a solution

feedthegoat : they're strappy sandals so "open" at the back

can't believe i didn't check the sizes nor the shop assistant - don't they always check the shoes at the till??!!!

I bet someone on mn has the matching pair. Just watch. Or someone will know someone who does.

I recently received a pair of (v.nice) shoes from ebay. One is 1/2 a size bigger than the other. The original owner clearly had never noticed!
Sadly they are not open toed red high heels but I feel your pain
