got a wedding in 4 weeks and had baby 8 weeks ago - my third in less than 4 years so my tummy is a really odd shape at the moment.

I can just about get into one of my dresses but need some of those really big nude flattening pants (the ones that alomst go up to your boobs) - which are the best ones to get? Don't want to cock it up with the wrong ones cos I know they're not cheap

Spanx are very good indeed. I have the ones that come all the way up to the bra strap and half way down the thigh.

Congrats on your baby!

Definitely Spanx. £30 for the cycling shorts that come up to your bra. Holds everything in and gives you a smooth shape. Great for post-baby belly. I think that's the key - a smooth line, rather than making you look necessarily a stone lighter. They're actually very comfortable (once you've hoiked them on) not at all as hot and tight as I'd expected. And crotchless, which makes bathroom breaks rather entertaining!

these

and

these

are excellent. i have both and found both very comfortable, ones in the first link more so.

they are hilariously difficult to get into to begin with but they soon loosen off a bit.
