A summer of breastfeeding!

I'm expecting Dd3 in a few weeks so I'm in for a summer of feeding - any suggestions for what to wear? I'm not really keen on tops/dresses specifically designed for feeding as they all look so boring ( and are v expensive).

Would love to find a couple of pretty little day dresses with buttons down the front for easy access (!) and light tops that I can throw on over a vest.

Any suggestions would be great.

I wore light vests under my tops - so the vest can be pulled down & top can be pulled up. It ment my usual wardrobe was extended significantly - as long as I could pull the top up it worked & I didn't need to flash any belly whilst feeding.

good luck

Hi! Thought this link might be of interest! They all have hook and eye fastenings on the front. I had the dress (but almost sold out now online, but I've seen it in some of the shops) and was fab for feeding, so the tops would probably be useful, too. I also just used to wear a vest top or strappy dress and pull it down and cover my modesty with a muslin!!

Lots of things about with buttons on the front at the mo, so you should be able to find some nice bits and pieces!

Good luck!!

I've just looked on mamaway. A lovely dress on there. Will try and link.

Oh - just seen that you don't want a breastfeeding dress... sorry. Although I have gone down the normal dresses (albeit strappy!) with buttons route at the moment as breastfeeding, and fear I am being rather indecent! Lots of strategic muslin placing which my son than yanks off.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Love the DP tops - have ordered the brown one!

Also don't mind a BF dress if it's pretty - which the Mamaway one is.

Have set ny heart on a halterneck maxi which will look totally indecent when feeding so went to Mothercare today and bought some more muslins to cover myself up!!
