kinda thing that kids seem to have going on today?

am considering them in navy, with slightly nautically looking outfit

mostly navy and white with a splash of red.

errr no not for me, sorry. They remind me of shoes ladies of a certain age wear ie 50+

I think that they are disgusting and mainly worn by women with swollen feet rolling over the top and out the sides

Hmmm... I can see your point, they have a certain appeal to me too. I think if you were under 30ish and looked younger, you'd be alright.

When I was 6 I was in Miss Eade's class at school. Miss Eade was truly ancient, seriously little old lady. At storytime we used to sit round the floor by her feet. She wore American tan tights and her toenails needed cutting.

Miss Eade wore those shoes.

My mum used to wear ones just like that in the 80s.

I'm 53 and I hate them...

Kids don't wear wedges... that's what kills them IMO. Not nice.
