Shoes

Hi, I lurk on here loads but have never posted, so hope it's ok to ask about shoes. I need a pair of flat shoes, which will look ok with skirts or jeans and stand up to lots of walking. I have quite narrow feet and am a size 7-8. Any ideas?

This question comes up a fair bit. Do you need them to be formal enough for work, or can you get away with something more casual? I must admit that I wear boots in the winter and birkies in the summer, with some heels under by desk to slip on at work.
Clarks is doing some nice bits-and-bobs at the moment- but better for the casual end of things.

You can get birkies in a narrow fitting, you can tell they are the narrow ones because the little footprint placed near the size is completely black rather than just an outline. Normally you can only get the narrow ones online but tk maxx have them this year, I bough new black ones in narrow for £20

Thanks, I have had a look in Clarks but everything I like is not available or sold out in a size 8. I didn't know about narrow Birkenstocks, they would be great but I haven't got them before cos the normal ones are like boats! I'll check them out.
