Ok ladies, who has got their Hasbeens sorted out for this summer and where did you get them?

I am desperate for these but can't seem to find them available online ANYWHERE except via sweden. And if I am going to part with the cash, I really feel I ought to try them on first.

So where did you get yours? Do Selfridges stock them? I live in London so will happily travel to find them....

Thank you!

I'm after the black I think Frosty... which ones did you buy?

(also nosy...)

And do you LOVE yours? I think I will need to LOVE them at that price (slight skinflint emoticon)...

I have the ones you linked to in the tan. I love them and ordered them from asos. Not sure if they still have them though.

shopalot · 20/05/2010 16:42

I am a size 5/5 1/2 and so ordered the 6 on advise but to be honest I wish I ordered the 5 as they are a little big. Thought that might be helpful!

shopalot · 20/05/2010 16:43

still have them and they are black. Free returns with asos

orangina · 20/05/2010 16:43

Thanks shopalot.... they are only available in a size 3 on asos atm.... don't think I can squeeze into those even if they come up a bit big....!

Otherwise I could go for somehting similar (but not as high) from his website here, but I'm suddenly having a crisis of confidence and perhaps they are fugly?!?!

(If anyone can be bothered to trawl through website above, they are in the high and funky section, the highwood closed toe in black.....)

They are only £45 though, so might be worth a punt....

Have lloked at link and I think they look lovely and so much cheaper. I spent my birthday money on hasbeens and to be honest I regret it. I will wear them all Summer but they are not super comfy.... I think the ones you are looking out would be a great compromise. (sp??)

orangina · 20/05/2010 16:55

Don't worry wats! Each to their own and all that.....

OP posts:
orangina · 20/05/2010 16:58

Oh shopalot THANK you for your input.... would be really rather cross to blow my cash on shoes that aren't that comfy.... which is rather why I wanted to try them on in the first place.

Might order the cheapies (all relative of course!) and see how they feel.... (am not loving the slightly yucky corrugated soles though, and heel shape not as sleek as the hasbeens....)

Ho hum. What to do.

Just reread my post and can't believe the sp and grammar oops!!!

Skimummy · 20/05/2010 18:09

Awesome. Thanks for this thread! I have been pontificating on Hasbeens for weeks but thinking I didn't want to spend so much. I have been trawling websites for similar and now...Mumsnet comes up with the goods!

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 20/05/2010 18:16

Design your own!

Coderooo · 20/05/2010 18:16

CLOGS nice
sandals shit

Pollyanna · 20/05/2010 18:23

I like the Russell and Bromley ones on here somewhere and they're much cheaper than hasbeens. Not sure I'd pay that much for something that won't be fashionable next year (and that I can't walk in).

Coderooo · 20/05/2010 18:24

adn the ones in JOnes
tbh though
think the moemnt has passed

Haven't read through so apols if already linked but I got mine at farfetch although they don't seem to have the ones I bought any more.

Have also seen them on the Urban Outfitters website and asos.com

HonestyBox · 20/05/2010 18:39

They look lush but I remember clogs being uncomfortable due to the hard sole.
