Breast lift surgery

Right so, I'm contemplating it at the moment. Terribly unhappy with current norkage, have always had biguns (was DDcup at 10, and am now a H!) so am used to them not being pert and upright iyswim. But since having ds my confidence has gone on holiday, they're not good at all.

Anybody had it done? Any info/experiences/clinic recomendations etc would be grand. Speaking of grand...how much? As I understand it, for a reputable clinic it's around the £4/5,000 mark?

I am young, 22 but don't want to have anymore babies, want to adopt any further children (not one for over-multiplying when there's lots of children desperate for families, but that's a whole other thread...). Also, will not be going ahead with it for a good few years to ensure that I'm not deluding myself! So please, no posts trying to convince me out of it, I'm not one of those silly girls that don't think things through.

I had a breast reduction and uplift last week. I am really happy. Cost £6,500. Went from 34GG to - well not sure yet as still swollen, but probably D or DD cup. Operation surprisingly pain free afterwards.
Go for it! I agonised about it for years, but now I am sure I did the right thing. I actually wore a little strappy top today - amazing! Usually I am swathed in acres of black stretchy fabric.

Wwww wedlocked that's great! Really happy for you

Thanks everyone for all the info, it's exactly what I was after....except I'm tempted to do more nore than breast lift....damned lack of £age!

Meandollie I am 51 and I have suffered with the ginormous norks for many years, but I was always scared of reducing them surgically.

I decided I had had them long enough last month when I was on holiday and yet again too self conscious to go for a swim. It was limiting my life (stupid of me I know because many people have 'em and don't feel they have to put themselves in purdah but that's how I feel about them).

Anyway I just wanted to let you know that if you do decide to reduce them it's OK - and you are much younger than me so you have time to save up!

Find a good surgeon from the BAAPS register.

I had a lift and a mini tummy tuck and am pretty happy with the results. My boobs are a million times more pert and I don't have to wear a bra - they are 32dd. My tummy is ok, large scar though (hip to hip) but all that flabby skin has gone. Something I could never have achieved through exercise. I do want more children and made sure the breast op was of the kind wear I can still breastfeed. I have little scarring one yr on, just a faint line round the nipples, no cuts anywhere else. I was however in quite considerable pain for a good week after. Maybe I have a low pain threshhold not sure!
Unlike everyone else I went to Slovakia to have it done, so the ops plus a small amount of lipo cost around 3000. I was still able to research my surgeon though and she was excellent and with all the right qualifications. Actually she trained here then moved home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. The hospital on the other hand was a bit basic, spotlessly clean and with all the machines etc but had an air of communist mental institution about it!
All the checks and tests I had prior to the op were incredibly thorough, had a full body scan, checks for all under lying illnesses etc and I was accompanied all the time by a translator.
Anyway am rambling now, if anyone has any more questions just ask

Brent Tanner did my reduction about 15 yrs ago! Wonder if he'll give me a good deal on an uplift as a returning customer or maybe a BOGOF heh heh

Once i'm done with bf-ing I'm seriously considering this too. 34F's that have fed three babies for a very long time and now droop sadly... they make me miserable and I feel horrible about my body because of them. If i don't wear a bra they droop so far down i look deformed

Amandoh - had gallbladder removed (one nurse with me all night) and the other major op to remove fibroids. Care was fantastic, open visitng hours, pain relief available anytime , free parking etc etc. Never regretted the money I spent going privately and I gotg to choose the consultant I wanted!
