Use Clarins self-tan (gel) when I am organised, but need something to slap on when the sun suddenly shines.
Anyone used Lancome instant gel for legs?

so no one is tanning their legs yet with wash-off tanner?
Have just bought No 7 leg stuff - had a £5 off voucher- but don' t like it- not a very natural colour for me.
anyone used anything else?

Funnily enough I was going to start a thread along these likes, but specifically St Tropez. I saw on a different thread that people used it, but I wasn't sure which one to go for?

Oops - sorry - just realsied you want instant tan. Must read threads closer before posting!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 19/05/2010 13:15

Sally Hansen 'spray on tights' mixed with a little bit of baby lotion. Goes on really nicely. The gels always look orange on my fair skin.

I'm using a dove summer glow tan. It's very subtle on my fair skin.

The Rimmel Sunshimmer wash-off tan in light shimmer is really good and I have used it all over with great success on a few occasions. The shimmer version tends to give a better finish I find, although they do a matte version too. The matte one is harder to blend. The medium/dark shade is also harder to blend unless you're already quite dark, but the light shade gives a natural tan on fair skin. It's dirt cheap too, and washes off with soap and water.

sounds good.

Another vote for sally hanson - i like the airbrushing for legs. Its a wee bit ott though so I mix with a little lotion.

Yes that Rimmel one is great.
