Emergency spot treatment please!

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and woke up yesterday with a face full of spots, presuming it's hormone related as although I do normally get spots before my period they're nothing like this!

Problem is I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and am looking for a quick fix solution so I look half decent on the day. I've already had to substitute my gorgeous dress as my bump is ridiculously large for 16 weeks, really don't want to be spotty as well .

Any pregnancy safe spot busting tips much appreciated!

Someone on here said Sudocrem works (and quickly too). I haven't actually tried it myself but you could search for the thread

it might be worth using a Simple face mask to bring them all out and at least get them on their way

Thanks, will head to boots tomorrow for sudocrem and face mask, draw them out (surely there can't be more!) then zap them, that'll leave 2 days to hope they decide to disappear, fingers crossed.

I went through a spotty phase a while ago. My strategy was to use a hot compress to get the gunge out, so cotton wool soaked in the hottest tap water, then hold it over the spot. Repeat until it bursts, then I used ROC Retin ox anti wrinkle serum twice a day to get rid of the scarring. It contains retinol which is used in the treatment of acne and worked a treat

Being pg I'm not sure how much vodka you've got lying around the house, but I swear by a dab of ice cold vodka. I always have a bottle in the freezer for just these kinds of emergencies (yeah right )

Yes, Sudocrem, or if your budget can stretch, Chanel do a good blemish zapper (can't remember its name off-hand).

DO NOT SQUEEZE. DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT! You will make them worse and angry looking if you do. Try to resist!

Invest in a good concealer (Bobbi Brown, for example).

Have fun at the wedding.

toothpaste works to dry them out and certainly worth a try.

More tips, great. Found a large stash of sudocrem at the back of the nappy drawer last night, not much change yet but will persist.

Also do have vodka, so will give that a go. I remember using toothpaste when I was a teenager, but then also remember squeezing then dabbing on nail varnish remover .

Woke up this morning to both dcs covered in chicken pox, (definitely not what is on my face), but we now look like a matching trio!

Need to head out to grab them some piriton, so will nip to the Chanel counter on my way.
