Well, I've been on my house of colour style day and I am now convinced I need to wear more jewellery.

Where do I start?

I need medium chunky in summer colours to suit a natural romantic with an oval face.

Where do you buy your costume jewellery?

So far I've seen some "one button" pieces I like, but other than that I'm struggling.

Hi TeaOneSugar

We could all do with a bit of colour in our outfits once in a while!

You should look out for things like Rose print jewelry like earrings with roses and nice long costume necklaces.

Look Magazine Fashion Trend of The Week 12 April 2010 calls it ?Petal Power? saying that your floral style should include your costume jewellery.

Look are also raving about Kitsch prints such as lips, hearts ice cream cones, bows, apples and strawberries. I am also loving the quirky shapes that are in fashion now. You can find costume necklaces of costume bracelets with lips, hearts, bows and other shapes to get bang on trend. Pastels and bright colours, especially when they clash give you the contrast that is now in fashion.

Techno prints are also in fashion so go for costume jewellery with an ethnic style combined with bold, bright colors.

Chunky chains ? Gold chains are now totally chic, once a bit of a fashion no no! Where a chunky one, high on the neck, like Courtney Cox and Rachel Zoe.

Weighty bracelets are also seen as chic now too.

Hedda I really enjoyed it, but it was very tiring. I was there for 8.5 hours and we packed lots in, it was quite intense, we looked at my silouette, measure my proportions, identified my shape, she used some questions about personality traits together with the body shape stuff to come up with my style.

We also talked about capsule wardrobes, shops to try, a clothes budget, accessories.

Combined with the colour day I feel much more aware of my shape and how to dress to compliment it. Definately worth it.
