Ideas for an outfit for a wedding when I'm a size 18, 5ft 4in and will possibly be 15 weeks pregnant

I also have very large boobs, which I'm very self concious about.

I tried on a dress the other day and it was OK but it was low cut under the arms and you could see my bra and I thought it made the dress look tacky.

The wedding is in two months so I have time to shop but I'm starting to fret already.

Can anyone suggest anything please?

Then go try it on! Like I said their dresses often look nicer on than on paper - I think the bust dots look funny but that is probably because there is no bust inflating them to sit where they should be.

Radical idea but
BHS?

Nowt wrong with spots! Classic for a wedding.

Out of your size on john lewis, but might have it in store

I'd team this with a black cardi too

If you fancy a proper 'maternity' dress

isabella oliver have lots of dresses

SparkyMalarky · 13/05/2010 18:27

this is especially nice

I'm not sure I feel comfortable with buying a proper maternity dress, feels like tempting fate iyswim?

I am going to go to Monsoon tomorrow and see if they have the two dresses linked to, get my size and get them both and try them on properly at home and get DP's view. I've also seen a dress I like in bravissimo, please be honest with me and tell me if you think it is vile or inappropriate for my size

more spots

I may also drop into the JL on oxford Street on the way home from work and check out what they have, the one linked to that wasn't in my size was lovely.

these might be a bit long but you could wear them with something like this

I know that's more expensive, but was trying to think of an outfit you might be able to wear again - top would be nice with jeans/linen trousers too

I know what you mean about 'maternity' tempting fate Unfortunately with DC 2 I went into mat jeans at 9 weeks so didn't have much choice!!
