I have used this for 2 years now (although I switch to the Chanel tinted moisturiser during summer months). I love it. Not sure about which shade as I am different tone to you.

sorry bad punctuation in title, sadly onto 2nd glass of vino after a low carbs tea

thanks tulpe, do you reckon more tinted moisturiser for summer?dd7 said the side of my nose looks like bacon hence I think Ineed to up the stakes re coverage.I am more a no make up type, just mascara and gloss think I need to make more of an effort.

Big fan of Vitalumiere here... it is actually AMAZING!

I'm using a BB equivalent at the moment and cannot wait for it to be used up and I have an excuse to buy Chanel again... its very light so think it will be fine for you for the summer, also has a good SPF in it!

tulpe · 12/05/2010 22:36

I find the tinted moisturiser gives good coverage - more than others I have tried. If you aren't usually a make up type then it would be a good stepping stone It has an spf 15.

Having said that, Vitalumiere can be worn very lightly too (I tend to wear in winter when I need more coverage so I apply it slightly more heavily than I would if I just needed the odd touch up here and there).

DecorHate · 13/05/2010 06:43

I love VL but can't wear it regularly as it messes up
my skin - I am currently using Boots No 7 Lift & Luminate every day with no problems. Has a similar effect but seems a bit lighter and is ok on my skin...

Ronaldinhio · 13/05/2010 09:42

I use clair vl and it's fabbo

cornsillkwearsclogs · 13/05/2010 09:44

I lurve it but it's too heavy for me for day wear.

kittya · 13/05/2010 10:02

too heavy? I find it quite thin. I love it, I think I paid about 34 for it. I use number 20 Cameo and Im quite fair.

darkandstormy · 13/05/2010 13:51

thanks for your help, off to the shops pronto.

I have nearly finished my first lot of Vitalumiere and will be back to Clinique Superbalanced when it has gone, suits my skin better, shame as I was very excited about it.

kittya · 14/05/2010 16:38

I have noticed on photographs that the coverage isnt as good as my old Mac one which I really didnt like!!

cyb · 14/05/2010 16:40

I do like it but its quite heavy coverage . I dilute mine with a cheapo version of Beauty Flash balm

HousewifeOfOrangeCounty · 14/05/2010 16:40

Go get some samples, I've bagged three but keep forgetting to try... in fact I might just nip off and do it now.

SuSylvester · 14/05/2010 16:41

i love VL
didnt love tintted moist OR larua mercier

just use less

Amandoh · 14/05/2010 17:31

I'm probably too late but.... Ask for a sample before handing over the cash!

Like CornsilkWearsClogs, I also found Vitalumiere too heavy. Luckily the lovely lady on the Chanel counter gave me a sample so no money wasted.

I was a huge fan of Lancome Color Ideal but have since discovered Dior Nude. It's brilliant! Ask for a sample of the Dior too while you're there.

kittya · 14/05/2010 23:51

Chanel are very generous with their samples, I must admit. I wish they were all like that!
