My roots are blonde, my hair mid way down is ginger and my roots are dark brown!!!

I'm going to the salon this morning.

My hair is a mess.

Will just have to borrow the money

I bleached the rest of it and it was ok.

not a uniform colour but ok once the colour went over it.... except it didn't ... it didn't take.

I look ridiculous.

Hairdressers doesn't open till 10

I think the cheapest option is for them to cut your hair in a a short and funky style. Dyeing etc on a large scale will be expensive - make sure they talk you through all the options and give you the prices up front.

My hair is only shoulder length.

I can't leave it this colour it HAS to be dyed and a cut will just add £20 to the bill

i really feel for you, have had my fair share of dyeing disasters, hope the salon can help or if you are still after a home solution, what was the colour that didn't take?, now that your hair is lightened, you may have more luck with a colour that has no ammonia in it.
