What can I wear with this top?

I bought a top at the weekend a bit like this one

Its a different pattern and without the frilly bits down the front but the frilly hems at the bottom are the same. Problem is now I have it at home it seems too long to wear with trousers. It comes down to just below my bum - do you think that's too short to wear with leggings? I'm quite tall (5' 8") so I always feel a though I have too much leg on show with leggings! And if I wore black leggings with it what would I wear on my feet?

PS I always have this problem - I will occasionally have a fret that all my clothes are horrible and unflattering so rush out and buy something and end up buying something in a panic before the kids get bored and then come home with something that doesn't go with anything else!

what about grey leggings? or cropped linen trousers? i'd go for sandals or flat ballet pumps on my feet, or little converse style shoes (not the boots though)

PPS Just noticed on that page there are tight jeans to wear it with. I'm still not sure about me in skinny jeans.

I would say grey leggings as well, black would be too harsh for the lighter colour palette. If you have very long legs then a pair of silvery or beaded sandals.

I'm sure those jeans will look great, what size are you? Agree not black leggings but grey.

I tend to take some pics of myself or get someone else too.

I'm size 10 but my thighs are the bit I most dislike about myself so I always worry about them being on show!

well get used to it! Blimey I'm a 14 and 5 foot 8 and I wear tight jeans and dare I say it...jeggings

black leggings would be too dark I think
I'd wear skinny jeans with it
